Abstract:
The possible crystallographic positions of carbon atoms in the cementite lattice upon fixed arrangement of iron atoms in it and the changes in the nearest neighborhood of iron atoms in different variants of arrangement of carbon atoms are considered. The results of calculation and the experimental data obtained by the extended energy-loss fine structure (EELFS) spectroscopy are compared.
