Abstract:
The results of experimental investigations of magnetic and magnetoresistive properties of bulk polycrystalline La0.75Sr0.25MnO3 manganites annealed for various times in an oxygen flow are presented. Contributions to the magnetoresistance from grains and grain boundaries are separated. It is shown that these contributions depend on the annealing duration. It was found that the magnetic anisotropy of the system increases with an increase in the annealing duration, The mechanisms of conductivity are discussed within the model of tunneling of spin-polarized carriers through nanosize grain boundaries.
