Abstract:
Perovskite-like nonstoichiometric oxide Bi0.67Cu3V4O12 (space group Im3, Z = 2, a = 7.294-7.340 angstrom) with cation-site vacancies is synthesized for the first time under uniform compression (p = 6.0-8.0 GPa) under heating (T = 700-1100 degrees C). The compound has metal conductivity and is a typical Pauli paramagnet.
