Abstract:

``Sociology of leisure and sociology of culture in search for interaction{''} (by Garold Zborovsky) touches upon some problems in interconnections and integration between two branches of sociological knowledge - sociology of culture and sociology of leisure. A further development line of sociology and its branches lies, so author, along the way to its differentiation accompanied by emergence of new branches, and also on the way of integration, and analysis of existing fully developed branches featuring distinct subject, notions, and specific research methods. The author gives an overview of basic approaches to a sociologist's analysis of interaction between leisure and culture as systems, as institutions and as values and activities.
