Abstract:

``Education as a resource for information society{''} (by Garold Zborovsky and Elena Shuklina) looks back at the evolution of education as an important tool and resource of information society in the making. Three types of education are discussed: a) the existing one, 2) the declared one, and 3) potentially feasible education. Authors demonstrate that new means of information and communication change the very principles of education. The basal system of education ceases to play its present role, for time spaces shrinks for renewing knowledge stocks, while the need for renovated education is to grow immensely. Hence self-education is be become the institutional center of education activities.
