Abstract:

The size of coherent scattering regions formed in carbon fibers was studied as influenced by the preparation conditions of the initial polyacrylonitrile thread and conditions of preliminary (similar to200degreesC) and flash high-temperature (similar to2400 and similar to3200degreesC) thermomechanical treatments.
