Abstract:
The effect of synthesis conditions and starting materials on the phase composition and particle size of titanium compounds prepared by reducing titanium hydroxide precipitated and dried in the presence of carbon black is addressed. The particle size of the intermediate and final products is shown to be determined by the amount of black and the particle size of titania.
