Abstract:
The report presents an electronic module system for a spectrometer with a semiconductor detector, operating parameter and regimes changes performed by a program on a CAMAC mainline. The factors determining energy resolution and count rate, and X-spectrometer throughout are presented. The characteristics of the module for an input count rate >105 s-1 and characteristics of the spectrometer with Si(Li) detectors are given. Future developments of the module system are discussed. © 1987.
