Abstract:
The processing of conversion pig iron with phosphorus content of 1.0-1.2% in converters is considered. To decrease a slag yield and to use thermal potential and physicochemical properties of slag of the former melt it is proposed to run the process with partial or complete leaving of slag. This allows to obtain low phosphorus concentration (0.039-0.085%), to decrease consumption of metal charge, lime and oxygen blowing.
