Abstract:
The regularities of structural transformations and relaxation phenomena are investigated for the amorphous and nanocrystalline materials with ascertainment of the analogies for liquid phases (molten metals). The results of simulation of molecular dynamics and diffraction analysis are used in research. The structure of the above phases is interpreted on the basis of principle of energetic preferableness of the close noncrystalline pack in the case of small or nano-dimensional systems and local regions with the restricted scale of coherency. Short-range ordering in the metallic systems upon melting, amorphization, crystallization and nanofragmentation is studied.
