Abstract:
Carbon amorphization under the conditions of superfast melt cooling and the dynamics of fragmentation of fullerene C60 under heating at various heating rates were simulated by the method of molecular dynamics. A statistical-geometric analysis of microstructure changes, types of coordination groups, and frequency characteristics of simulated states at various temperatures was performed. Stages of fullerene C60 fragmentation were shown to be determined by the intensity of heating.
