Abstract:
Amalgams of alkali metals are objects of intense theoretical and experimental investigations because of great practical interest in such systems. The development of calculation methods and creation of statistical models of the molecular-dynamics (MD) method, on the one hand, and the diffraction data available on the K-Hg system, on the other, enable carrying out a combined investigation and interpretation of the physicochemical properties of this melt by computer experiments at present.
