Abstract:

Traditional technology for vanadium-containing slag preparation include two-stage grinding. However, this technology provides low efficiency of required grinding. Extraction of iron from the slag is insufficient. New technology for preparing the vanadium-containing slag has been developed at 'Chusovskoj Metallurgicheskij Zavod' metallurgic plant. Closed cycle of grinding the slag is provided. New technology includes application of chaffer-fin classifier, magnetic separators, centrifugal classifier, classifier cyclones, and other equipment. Efficient preparation of the slag is provided.
