Abstract:
A new method for determining elastic moduli, which explicitly includes texture parameters that make it possible to allow for texture inhomogeneities, is suggested. To illustrate the suggested theory, elastic moduli of a ferritic steel were calculated with allowance for the nonuniform distribution of various texture components over the sheet section.
