Abstract:
In some frogs of genus Rana appears the so-called morpha 'striata', phenotypically exposed as light dorsal-medial stripe. For three kinds of amphibian - R. ridibunda, R. arvalis (possessing such genetic variant as morpha striata) and R. temporaria (morpha striata doesn't occur) inhabiting the city agglomeration, investigated were peculiarities of physiology and behavior. Measurements of sodium permeability for R. arvalis skin showed significant (F=5.39, p<0.0023) its decreasing in stripped species in comparison with other. Physiologic consequences of this phenomenon are analyzed. High stability against the medium' anthropogenic transformations, characteristic for R. arvalis and R. ridibunda, proves that the species with dorsal-medial stripe are pre-adapted for geochemical anomaly of medium.
