Abstract:
The paper contains an experimental justification of the dynamic speckle interferometry method whose characteristics are analogous to the holographic interferometry method but which does not provide for recording the hologram. It is shown with reference to an analysis of deformation of a circular membrane that the patterns of fringes obtained under the same conditions by means of the two methods are in satisfactory agreement. It is found that there is a good correlation of changes in the order of fringes at the center of the membrane measured by the two methods.
