Abstract:
A new efficient modification of the known heuristic algorithm for real-time musical beat tracking is suggested. The modification uses an improved formula for updating relative frequencies of inter-onset time intervals onsets. The algorithm demonstrates a good efficiency when tested on the MIREX Beat Tracking evaluation set. © 2011 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
