Abstract:
On the basis of a universal model developed at OOO NPVP TOREX, the influence of the main operational parameters of conveyer-type roasting machines on the thermal characteristics of roasting is analyzed. The relation between the productivity and fuel consumption of the machine, as well as the strength of the pellets produced, is established for different thermal and operating conditions. Preconditions are formulated for the selection of the optimal roasting-machine configuration at the design stage. © 2014, Allerton Press, Inc.
