Abstract:
The self-diffusion coefficient of liquid sodium is calculated in the square-well (SW) model within the random phase approximation and in the hard-sphere (HS) model. It is found that the HS value obtained is significantly larger than both SW obtained and experimental values. © 2014 Arkadiy B. Finkel'shtein.
