Abstract:
A circuit for measuring potential by the method of active corpuscular diagnostics is described. The plasma was probed by a beam of heavy Ar** plus and Kr** plus ions having energies of 4 to 10 kev. The average plasma potential was measured according to the time of flight of the ion beam through the plasma. The variation of the time of flight was recorded directly by means of an oscilloscope.
