Abstract:
A method was developed for chitosan modification using the multicomponent Ugi reaction. The obtained products are highly soluble in water in a wide range of pH 2-11. They were used for the stabilization of liposomal suspensions based on phosphatidylcholin, which retained colloidal stability for three months upon the addition of modified chitosan in a ratio of 1 : 5.
