Abstract:
Recent studies into multilayers and the possibility to create multilayer films with random variations of the value and the sign of constants of anisotropy in thickness induce the necessity of consideration of orientation phase transitions in magnets with competing anisotropy of scale with d=2 (a layer) and d=1 (a film). It is shown that d=2 is the critical scale when asperomagnetic phase appears. An investigation is made of magnetic structure of films with randomly alternating layers with competing anisotropy. Some calculation results for samples of various thickness are presented along with phase diagram for the film with competing anisotropy.
