Abstract:

A complete analytical solution of the integro-differential model describing the process of transient nucleation and growth of crystals is constructed. The roles of crystal withdrawal rate appearing in the Fokker-Planck equation and the external heat/mass sources entering in the balance equations are detailed. © 2015 AIP Publishing LLC.
