Abstract:
The requirements, structure, and architecture of the Tekhnolog Domennogo Tsekha (TDT) workstation in the decision-making support system at the MES level are considered. This workstation forms part of the automatic control system for blast-furnace production at OAO Magnitogorskii Metallurgicheskii Kombinat. The basic model subsystems are briefly described, and the assumptions on which simulation is based are specified. By means of the system developed, the engineering staff may analyze the conditions in the blast-furnace shop in real time, solve technological problems relating to the control of thermal, gasdynamic, and slag conditions in the blast furnaces, and calculate the optimal batch composition. The overall effect is to boost blast-furnace performance. © 2015, Allerton Press, Inc.
