Abstract:
A group of steels with carbide-intermetallide hardening containing 0.12 and 0.21\% C, 9.5\% Ni, 1.0-3.5\% Mo, 0.03 and 0.8\% Al, 0.2\% V, 1.2\% Cu, and 0.05\% Nb was investigated. The mechanical properties were determined and the structure of the steels was investigated with use of x-ray diffraction, electron microscopic, and chemical analysis methods. The optimum composition and heat treat cycle of these steels are proposed.
