Abstract:
An algorithmic analysis of the array of benzimidazole derivatives tested for antiviral activity against influenza A virus yielded estimates of the relative contributions of some structure elements to their biological activity, derived the decision rule that classified active and inactive structures properly. With this, new compounds having a potential antiviral activity against influenza A virus were generated.
