Abstract:
Oxidation of ethyl cyanoglyoxylate 2-oxime followed by KOH treatment affords stable potassium salt of nitroacetonitrile which is a reliable substitute of hazardous free nitroacetonitrile in organic synthesis. © 2016 Mendeleev Communications. Published by ELSEVIER B.V.
