Abstract:
Influence of mushy region at external heat fluxes fixed and influence of mushy region at external temperatures fixed has been investigated, in this paper. We revealed that the quasistationary process of solidification of a binary melt in the presence of a narrow mushy region is absolute unstable regime and that the quasistationary process of solidification of a binary melt in the presence of a broad mushy region is absolute stable regime. The concentration at the interface without and with an equilibrium mushy region in a unidirectional solidification process with fixed external heat fluxes is drew. We depicted the concentration at at the interface as a function of time at fixed boundary temperatures. The numerical methods has been fulfilled, in this paper.
