Abstract:

Magnetization processes in antiferromagnets with several equivalent antiferromagnetism axes are investigated theoretically and experimentally. It is shown that in general the magnetization in the antiferromagnets is determined both by intradomain processes and by displacements of interdomain walls. Parameters are introduced for the description of the magnetic hysteresis and the field dependence of the reversible and irreversible susceptibilities.
