Abstract:
The ESR investigation of the DPPH-coated YBa2Cu3O7-delta single crystals is presented. It is shown that for a parallel field configuration, B parallel-to (ab), the shape of the ESR signal and its linewidth are governed primarily by shielding effects that result in additional broadening as the up-field sweep is increased. The temperature behavior of the DPPH linewidth for a perpendicular configuration, B perpendicular-to (ab), is analyzed within the framework of flux lattice inhomogeneity. The lambda-BAR perpendicular-to value extracted was 1200 angstrom.
