Abstract:
ESR measurements on YBa2Cu3O7 and Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 ceramic samples coated with the organic radical DPPH are presented. The flux-line lattice (FLL) detected by inhomogeneous line broadening is used to estimate the magnetic penetration depth lambdaBAR(0) = 3500 angstrom for YBa2Cu3O7 and 3900 angstrom for Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10. The extracted temperature dependences lambda(T) are consistent with the expected (1 - (T/T(c))4)-1/2 behavior for both compounds investigated.
