The Library is ranked as the oldest and largest university library in the Urals.
It holds an extensive collection which includes around 2,5 million educational and academic items and dozens of electronic databases. The Library has a large team of skilled staff for effective functioning as a leading innovative library.

The structure of the Library includes: 6 circulation desks, 5 reading rooms, 3 information centers located in 19 Mira St., 4 Turgeneva St. and 48 Kuybysheva St. Each of them has its own specific functions (read here).

To be highlighted:

- Information Centre of Library Resources (19 Mira St., room Б-202) not only provides access to the electronic resources but here you can receive competent help for using them or request a group seminar in Russian and in English;
- Department of Information and Bibliography Services (19 Mira St., room Б-401) provides such scientific services as compiling bibliographic lists, thematic retrieval, determining bibliographic classification indexes. These are paid services, and The Price List for Library Services is uploaded on the Library website in Russian;
- Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature (4 Turgeneva St., room 356) contains various types of materials in 19 world’s languages.

All the departments have comfortable places with Wi-Fi to study, search for information and simply to relax.
