We are glad to present to the reader’s attention a new thematic exposition in the Exhibition Hall of the UrFU Library.

Did you know that the UrFU Library has an extensive collection of children's books? As a part of the decade of childhood in the Russian Federation (2018-2027) and on the eve of the summer holidays the staff of the humanities literature service department prepared an exposition dedicated to children's literature in all its diversity.

Our «BiblioGuide» is a leading star to the world of children's works loved by many generations of readers from all over the world. The exposition includes fiction books in Russian and foreign languages, popular scientific publications for children and their parents, useful and fascinating articles from academic journals. By visiting the exhibition, you will learn more about the 2022-anniversaries, will get acquainted with the world-famous folk fairytales in the original language and in translation, will remember the first-ever books in your life and will see the well-known masterpieces of children's books illustrators. All books are allowed to be taken home with your library card. A special place in the exposition is occupied by the artistic works that were created by children and grandchildren of the library specialists. Feel free to take a look at them! Kids will be sincerely happy to receive your attention.

The exhibition will open on The International Children's Day (June, 1) and will be presented until the end of summer in the Library's Exhibition Hall on 4 Turgeneva St., room 267. You can visit the exhibition on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00. Proficient librarians will consult you on all emerging issues concerning the exhibition. We are waiting for your feedback: come to the library and tell us about your beloved children's books or fill in the gaps of the past and finally read what you once missed!

Lists of publications from the exhibition:
