UrFU Library has always assisted and consulted researchers in working with a remarkable spectrum of Russian and international electronic resources. A particular attention was focused on Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus, since these were the basis of academic search, supplied bibliometric indicators to evaluate a paper or to identify the ideal journal in which to publish the research. Currently, access to WoS is suspended, Scopus is available only for UrFU faculty and staff. In view of these difficulties, the role of the information and analytical products located on the Russian eLIBRARY platform is rapidly increasing. These products include: - eLIBRARY.RU - the leading Russian full-text scientific electronic library covering all disciplines; - РИНЦ (Russian science citation index) - includes only publications in academic peer-reviewed journals and analytical tools (bibliometric indicators) to evaluate the activity of individual scholars, affiliations, and journals; - RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index - not to be confused with РИНЦ!) - a special collection integrated into WoS. The Journals List was updated on 27 July 2022 and includes 944 leading peer-reviewed journals. The publications indexed parallel in RSCI, Scopus and WoS built the virtual РИНЦ NUCLEUS. Thus, these resources supply you with relevant information as well as help to select journals from the world rankings. The specialists of Library information centres and department of information and bibliography services will guide you through the eLIBRARY Universe.
