The departments of the library where you can take home books and journals are called Circulation Desks. You can borrow books from there even in the summer.

The following Circulation Desks function at different university campuses:

• The Circulation Desk of Liberal Arts & Humanities (4 Turgeneva st., room 252): borrowing scientific and study materials in liberal arts, humanities and economics, fiction literature.
• The Circulation Desk of Humanitarian Periodicals (4 Turgeneva st., room 266): borrowing magazines in humanities, published prior to 2018.
• The Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature (4 Turgeneva st., room 356): borrowing books and magazines in humanities in foreign languages. Readers can also study in the reading room there.
• The Circulation Desk of Natural Sciences (48 Kuybysheva st., room 254): borrowing academic and educational works, natural science journals both in Russian and foreign languages.
• The Circulation Desk of Technics & Engineering (19 Mira st., room Б-201): borrowing academic and educational works in technical sciences in both Russian and foreign languages.
• The Circulation Desk of Social & Economic Study Materials (19 Mira st., room Б-304): borrowing academic and educational works in humanities, economics, military affairs and applied physical education.

From the 1st of July until the 31st of August all of the departments work according to the summer tschedule: from Monday to Thursday 9:00-17:00, on Friday 9:00-16:00, and on Saturday and Sunday the library is closed.
