Every year, in the midst of the winter session on January 25, Russian students celebrate their main holiday – Russian Student Day, or Tatiana Day, named after the Orthodox saint to whom people still pray for help with studies. This day was established in 2005, but the tradition of celebrating it dates back to 1755, the day the first Russian university was founded in Moscow.
Russian Student Day has always been celebrating at Ural Federal University as well. In 2024, it will be held under the slogan "Being a student is cool!" An intense program has been prepared for everyone who is taking exams. Many different events and surprises are expected.
Student years are an amazing time in life when you can literally do everything – learn sciences, take first steps in your future profession, make friends and have fun. The Library congratulates all students on their holiday and invites them to an exhibition! Until February 5, the book exhibition "Why Study in the 21st Century?" is open at the Circulation Desk of Social & Economic Study Materials (Mira, 19, B-304). Here you will find answers to questions such as: how to become successful? How to understand your desires? Is it necessary to study science and where to start? How to get seven scholarships at once? The exhibition features publications on sociology, pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, and even books dedicated to various aspects of Ural Federal University history.
We are waiting for you at the library!
