Library invites Ural Federal University students, faculty and staff to participate in photo exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Sverdlovsk Region. Subject of the works: • In the rhythm of beloved city (city landscapes, street photography, Sverdlovsk region settlements from an aerial view, etc.); • Cultural and historical heritage of the Sverdlovsk region (wooden architecture, ancient churches and cathedrals, manor houses and architectural ensembles, Soviet architecture, mix of eras and styles in architecture) • In harmony with nature (woods, lakes, mountains, animals, birds of the Sverdlovsk region). Terms of participation in the photo exhibition: 1. The works from personal photo archives in PNG and JPEG formats (high-quality) are admitted, including high-quality scanned photos (the works should be sent to the group messenger). 2. Choose a title for the photo and specify the year when it was taken. 3. Tell about yourself: Name and surname If you are a student – what course are you studying, your institute. If you are a staff – your position, department. 4. Share the story related with the locality on the photo, some interesting facts about it, tell us your impressions of visiting this place (the volume of the essay does not matter). 5. The photos are accepted from September 28 until October 13, 2024. Take your chance to share your creativity and to know how the Sverdlovsk region is seen by Ural Federal University students and staff! All the photos will be displayed in the exposition of the Library Exhibition Hall from October 28 up to the end of the year 2024 (4 Turgeneva St., room 267), they will be also uploaded to the group album.
