Where Should I Publish?

There are many ways to publish the results of your research in high-ranking journals. Today we would like to focus on the academic journals published by Ural University Press, the leading Russian university publishing house. In recent years the publishing house has been awarded the title "Leader of University Book Publishing" for several times. Ural University Press leads the project "UrFU International Scientific Journals Publishing", which comprises 23 scientific journals, twelve of which are indexed in the international influential databases, Scopus and Web of Science among them. Besides, these journals are included into the most authoritative Russian rankings: The Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) List and the recently emerging White List initiated by the Russian Centre for Scientific Information. It should be also noted that a half of the UrFU journals are published in English. Some of the journals are quite young founded already in 2000s, but there are also journals dating from mid-twentieth century. For example, the journal «Античная древность и средние века» (“Antiquity and the Middle Ages”) has been publishing since 1960. The journals cover all research categories and are published both online and in printed version. You can look through the UrFU academic journals in Журнальный портал УрФУ (the UrFU Jounral Portal).
