Dear friends! Today, on February 10, UrFU Library starts its annual activity – “Science Days in the Library”. And traditionally, one day is devoted to international master students, postgraduates, bachelors and anyone interested in searching relevant scholarly information. All the lectures are presented in English. This year it will take place on Febraury 14, 2 pm–4 pm, in Library Resources Information Centre (19 Mira St., room Б-202). The traditional program has been a bit changed. The topics will be as follows: • Information potential of UrFU and Library: Library collection, services and resources guide. Russian as a foreign language. • Collection of the Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature. You will acquaint with the Library history, its structure, social media. A particular attention will be focused on international scientific databases, their content, mode of access, and some searching tips, as well as on open access resources. A separate story will present you a specialized department located in Turgeneva St.: Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature, containing impressive collections in different world’s languages. We will also mention some resources helping in studying Russian language. The seminars will be held in a hybrid format: offline and online. Participation is free. You need to register on the Library site. Then a link to online session will be sent to your email. Participants will receive electronic certificates.
