In the digital age a Library is no longer limited to a room with dusty bookshelves and stereotypical librarians. A modern Library is an endless universe of information where librarians are your guides. Such is the Library of one of the Russia's leading universities, Ural Federal University, located at several sites: 19 Mira Street, 4 Turgeneva / 51 Lenina Street, 48 Kuybysheva Street. The Library offers a wide spectrum of innovative resources and services. You may be sure that everyone, no matter institute and native language, can find here everything required Thus, let us have a brief overview of the Library potential for international master students and postgraduates. • Firstly, it is a rich collection of traditional paper books that can be found at all the Library sites. A particular attention should be focused on a specialized department ‒ Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature located in 4 Turgeneva Street, room 356. It holds a diversified collection including around 27 thousand items not only in English, but in more than 20 world languages. • A collection of authentic technical and engineering journals in English, German and some other languages published in the 19th ‒20th centuries can also attract your attention. It is located in 19 Mira Street in the Reading Room of Scientific Technics and Engineering (rooms Б-301 and Б-501). • Ural Federal University subscribes around 60 international scientific databases. In the Library information centres you can access these databases and learn how to use them. • Besides individual consultations, the Library provides group seminars in English on using electronic resources in the Information Centre of Library Resources (19 Mira St., room Б-202). The seminars are held both offline and online. • Detailed information about the Library departments, addresses, news, events, exhibitions, resources and services you can found in our media: Library site in Russian and English, two VKontakte groups: Ural Federal University Library and Dostupnaya Nauka (Accessible Science), and an English-language UrFU Library Telegram Channel established specially for UrFU international students, master students and postgraduates. All of them are also a good way for feedback. • Moreover, spacious and bright Library rooms attract students for co-working, preparing projects and other group activities, and even for rest. We are sure that all the Library possibilities and secrets are unlimited. And the best way to discover them is to visit the Library in person or to request an excursion. We are waiting!
