On October 9th, on the All-Russian Reading Day, a holiday of literature and books, the Library announces the launch of a chatbot that will help everyone choose a book to read. The UrFU Library Recommends chatbot already offers over a thousand fiction books from the Library’s collection. It includes classics and contemporary prose, science fiction and mystery, thrillers and detective stories, dystopias and magical realism. What can our chatbot do? It has a random recommendation function for those who are open to new literary discoveries or you can choose your favorite genre and trust chance within that category. Each item indicates its storage location, to help readers navigating within the Library’s locations to obtain the recommended book. The chatbot will continue to expand, with recommendations from our readers contributing to its growth. Don’t know what to read? We’ll help you make a choice!
