NEW EXHIBITION AT THE CIRCULATION DESK OF FOREIGN LITERATURE
____

«Give a man power and you will know who he is».
Napoleon I Bonaparte

«Heavy lies the crown»: tsars, kings, emperors, presidents – that is the name of the new book exhibition at the Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature (4 Turgeneva st., room 356). It is often said that crown is heavy, when speakers want to highlight the difficulty of the duty, high responsibility and need to settle the complicated tasks in a short time.

While it may seem simple to rule with wisdom and efficiency, the reality is much more complex. This exhibition offers a diverse range of popular science books and journals that delve into the lives of these influential figures, providing insight into the challenges they faced and the difficult decisions they made.

The biographical books on display offer a deeper understanding of these leaders, including Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi, Alexander I Romanov, Fidel Castro, Mao Zedong, and many more. These publications are available in German, French, and English, and cover topics ranging from art to politics to the environment.

We welcome you to visit the exhibition at the Circulation Desk of Foreign Literature between 9am and 5pm on weekdays and from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays.
